Treasury Tuesday: Blue Skies and Sunshine

We usually think of all Red, Orange, and Yellow when it comes to fall colors, but I think this treasury (featuring GoldhawkPottery), with its muted blue and yellow color scheme, is perfect for those sunny, blue sky fall days. It just makes me want to jump into a pile of yellow leaves!

Make-it Mondays: Pets of Etsy

Finally...one of you has a dog! Thank you Susan, of sculptresslink, for sharing our latest studio creature, Smokey. Susan adopted Smokey from the the Humane Society while she lived in Arizona, procuring her Masters degree in Art Education. She is a worldy assistant who has traveled with her studio boss from Arizona, to Arkansas and now to Rochester, New York. Check her out!

At sixteen, this pooch is still working it, as a model for Susan's creations. In this case, a cupcake barrette.

Sitting expectantly, in the hopes that some polymer clay will drop from Susan's hands and onto the floor. (She thinks it's food.)

Wednesday Wellspring: Designs by Missrie

Congratulations to #95 (JC) for winning The Quilted House's giveaway.

Bubbling up from the well this week, a touch of elegance by the talented Missrie!
Today, one lucky winner will receive a pair of Blue Green Faceted Clover Earrings.

This festive pair just might bring you a little luck! These beautiful faceted beads are green with a little touch of blue. The wire wrapped design looks like an upside down three leaf clover. These earring are about an inch and a half in length and finished off with silver plated wires.

You can next see Missrie's work in person at Loveapalooza festival, Saturday September 17. The festival is hosted by Lovin' Cup, and will take place at Park Point plaza. For more details, visit the Lovin' Cup website or Facebook event page.
